Danny Rand, also known as Iron Fist, is a character featured in the Netflix corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He first appeared in the *Iron Fist* TV show (2017).
After surviving a plane crash that killed his parents, young Danny was taken in and trained in the mystical city of K'un-Lun. There, he mastered martial arts and earned the title of Iron Fist by defeating the dragon Shou-Lao the Undying.
